Bharat - I really like what you have done. Four different scenarios. The play among languages. The intriguing aspect of what the real "issue" in a conversation is about.
ReplyDeleteYou seem to have been immersed in your task which is not really a task but the normal state of mind of a creative person interested in story-making and story-telling.
Another question you should ask yourself is: How do I integrate relevant conversations/dialogues into stories I want to tell?
ReplyDeleteFor instance, if you remember the story you wrote in sci-fi class, you will realise that there is hardly any dialogue or if there is a conversation, it is hardly "natural" like the ones you have eavesdropped in on. It is this "naturalness" that one needs when one is integrating conversation/dialogue into the story.
Then again, the next task would be to engage with conversations at different levels, in varying degrees of intensity - emotional, light, intellectual, argumentative, erotic, etc.
So now keep your ears peeled to see if you can grab a whole variety of such conversations for use in your stories.
